What separates Bare Bones broth from all the rest?
We pride ourselves on using only bones from animals that were humanely raised on open pastures with clean diets free of antibiotics, hormones and grains. We prioritize this above all else because what goes into the animals body goes into our body. We only use organic vegetables and herbs and our water is filtered, ensuring the final product is as pure and flavorful as it is packed full of vitamins, minerals and gelatin.
Our broths are slowly simmered for 24 hours using steam instead of an open flame. This is a much more gentle and efficient cooking method, reducing the amount of energy required to extract nutrients while ensuring we're getting every last nutrient and flavor morsel we can from the bones and vegetables. Once the simmer is complete, we remove all the fat, impurities, and sediment before reducing the broth to concentrate the nutrients and flavor. This process is really what allows us to create the most pure broth on the market. By removing moisture, instead of adding it, like most bone broth products, we're concentrating the nutrients that give bone broth it's defining and nourishing characteristics. We strongly believe this is the only honest way to make a bone broth that does what it's supposed to.
